Success Secrets 3: Be Decisive and Action Oriented

Perhaps one of the biggest things that we have seen that stops people
making forward progress in their lives is procrastination. It is the disease
of momentum. Both indecision and over analysis essentially lead to the
same thing: A LONG ROAD TO NOWHERE!

We are all going to make mistakes. This is a fact of life, and one that when we accept  this as part of a journey, makes achievement much more accessible.

The key to triumph is for you to try. Successful people are decisive and they try far more things than the average person. By the Law of Probabilities, if you try far more different ways to be successful, the odds are that you will find the right way for you at the right time.

Unsuccessful people are indecisive. They know that they should do or stop doing certain things but they do not have the character or the willpower to make firm decisions. As a result, they drift through life, never happy, fulfilled or successful. They never become wealthy or achieve financial independence. They settle for far less than is possible for them.

When you become decisive and action oriented, you shift your entire life into high gear. You get far more done in a day than the average person. You move ahead far faster than the people around you. You actually tap into a higher source of energy, enthusiasm and
motivation that fills you full of joy and exhilaration which propels you forward even faster toward your goals. Ask yourself, "What one action, if I did it immediately, could have the greatest positive impact on my results?" Whatever your answer to that question, just do it!

We are all going to make mistakes. This is a fact of life, and one that when we accept this as part of a journey, makes achievement much more accessible. Pride and ego are our biggest barriers to success. Enjoy listening, enjoy learning and growing and know that we can learn something from everyone.

Do not fear the consequences of your decisions. Be decisive. Use your knowledge, use your experience, use your intuition; make quick and well informed decisions.
Decisions about what you believe. If you don’t know, make a guess. You’ll be close,
and refine it from there. Wealthy people do not wait to make decisions; they make decisions and then refine their strategy and improve upon it.

The greatest leaders are the most decisive leaders. Indecision can cost us thousands
or millions of Money and far worse: Freedom or Happiness.

As Napoleon Hill puts it: “Do not wait; the time will never be just right.” Start where you stand, and work with whatever tools you may have at your command, and better tools will be found as you go along.’

Decision is a mindset: Be a decision maker.
